Michael Efraimidis, received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Crete in 2019.

Michael Efraimidis works as a PhD student at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Crete since 2023. He is part of the research team SURREAL which specializes in Augmented and Virtual Reality, Visualization and Computer Graphics, including Human Computer Interaction, Perceptually-optimized Computer Graphics and Gaze-contingent Displays. 

His PhD studies are related to haptic technologies, development of XR/VR environments. He currently works as an assistant researcher for the European SUN project.
