About
The SURREAL research team was founded in 2006, at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technical University of Crete. It is a centre of research excellence in VR and AR technologies, perceptual rendering, gaze-contingent displays, haptics, multimodal interfaces, involved in European and national research projects. The SURREAL Team is surrounded by over 20 undergraduate and graduate candidates as well as full-time researchers, with over 100 research outputs and participation in national and international research events as well as open science days, promoting the team’s work as well as its scientific innovations.
